Air Purifiers

There’s nothing worse than trying to sleep when the air is stuffy or smelly. It makes it difficult to relax and get a proper night’s rest.
I live in a smoking building and sometimes, the smell comes through my window. This usually happens right before I go to sleep and keeps me up late. Many nights of this happening, I knew an air purifier was next on my shopping list.
Before purchasing one, I spent a long time researching some of the best air purifiers out there. I wanted one that would not only remove bad odors while I sleep, but also clean the air and make the environment feel more comfortable. After hours or research, I finally came across one that I absolutely love.
The Air Purifier I Personally Recommend
The air purifier I recommend for everyone is the Winix True HEPA 6300-2 Air Cleaner with PlasmaWave Technology (view on Amazon).
If the air quality is affecting how you sleep, this purifier is a great choice.
Cleaner Air
The Winix does an excellent job of cleaning the air, offering smart sensors and filtration system to effeciently detect and remove odors.
Ideal for a Small Room
It’s a great addition to a small room or studio apartment. I live in a 500 sq Ft and have my winix placed in the center of the room. At the click of a button, the Winix goes to work.
Easy to Use and Maintain
The Winix 6300 is very easy to use. Choose to run it either manually or automatically, depending on how much control you want. In auto mode, the Winix will adjust depending on the air quality. A red light shows if the air is poor. The fan will work faster and be slightly louder. Yellow shows when the air is of medium quality, and blue when the air quality is good. I love to leave it on auto mode so I don’t have to worry about it.
Cleaning the Winix
The Winix comes with 8 carbon filters and a HEPA Air Cleaner. Every few week, vacuum the dust from the filters. The carbon filters should be replaced every 3-6 months and pre-filters when worn out. The HEPA should be replaced once a year.
