Pillows

A good night’s rest can be difficult to come by, and the pillow is sometimes to blame. Pillows should be both comfortable and supportive for all types of sleepers including side, back, and front. Like mattresses, choosing the right pillow should be taken carefully. It can greatly improve your sleep and overall health.

I spent a long time researching some of the best pillows out there, taking into account their comfort, material, and cost. If you’re stuck trying to decide on which pillow to buy, here are some ideas that I hope will save you time and make a good choice.

The Pillow I Personally Recommend

During my investigation, I finally came across one that I think provides the best overall value. The pillow I recommend for all types of sleepers is the Coop Home Goods – Premium Adjustable Loft – Shredded Hypoallergenic Certipur Memory Foam Pillow (view on Amazon).

The Coop pillow meets the CertiPUR-US standard for performance, durability, and emissions, making it a great choice for your next pillow.

I’m a side sleeper, so I like my head to be elevated and inline with my back. In the past, I usually had to place an arm under the pillow to get enough elevation. This, however, always resulted in a numb arm. The Coop pillow solved this problem with its fully adjustable feature.

Fully Adjustable

This memory foam pillow is fully adjustable, which means that you can add or remove the shredded foam to meet your comfort needs. Whether you’re a flat sleeper or prefer to be more elevated, this pillow allows for both. If you’re unsure, experiment, and find a level that works for you.

Hypoallergenic

If you suffer from an allergy, no need to worry, since this pillow is hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant. This was a big factor for me since any kind of reaction is terrible for sleep.

Sleep Positions

The Coop pillow is great for all types of sleepers, especially side sleepers, since it offers even support. Side sleepers should have a firm pillow to prevent the head from dropping down into an awkward position. With the option to customize firmness, the pillow can easily be adjusted. If it’s too high, just remove some of the foam and adjust to your needs.
